When it comes to living with Becker’s Muscular Dystrophy as we get older it is very important for us to take care of ourselves. When it comes to healthy living we all know the sooner we start the better. The typical things we can do to stay healthy is maintaining a healthy diet, limiting salt intake, staying active and avoid bad habits like smoking and excessive drinking. When it comes to living with Becker’s you eventually learn that is possible that as we get older we may face some heart related issues. That is why the key to living with Becker’s is to try and stay as active as possible that means going on walks and doing exercises that help keep our muscles moving. We all know that inactivity is not a good thing and I do understand that for some of us staying active can be a bit of a challenge at times. But in the end it is worth it. All we have to do is our best knowing in the end we will benefit from staying active and living a healthier lifestyle.
